The Pakoštane gastronomic event Mali Križi, malo bliži is held on the feast of Corpus Christi. Peas are traditionally prepared for the local festival, the so-called "Križe" (Ascension Day), and the Feast of Corpus Christi is celebrated as "Mali Križi".
Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes with "biži" (peas) prepared by Pakoštane housewives according to a traditional recipe (peas with artichokes, peas with pasta, peas with veal and lamb, peas with prosciutto...). Having fun by enjoying in klapa songs and experiencing gastronomic pleasure are an excellent introduction to summer events in Pakoštane.
